About The Position
Star Blends is a full-service feed manufacturing facility that uses state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality animal feed, dairy nutrition, and commodity contracting for our hardworking Midwest farm families. Our passion is helping guide farm success. We value integrity and take pride in growing our team of leaders. The Mill Controller is responsible for the safety and productivity and is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Ability to operate in a range of Wisconsin temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate our computer-blending/receiving system
- Sequence production runs
- Receive incoming bulk ingredients
- Generate invoices for outgoing bulk products
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process of all Production Associates
- Lead team huddles
