About The Position

The Mill and Calendar Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining milling and calendaring equipment used in the production process to package, mill, slit, calendar, shop, click, and run injection press for manufacturing of tire repair patches. This role ensures materials are processed to quality specifications, production targets are met, and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust mill and calendar machinery according to production requirements.
Monitor equipment performance and make necessary process adjustments.
Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Measure and record production data, including material usage, output, and quality checks.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance activities.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety procedures.
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve operational goals.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing specifications.
Supply various departments with necessary materials to make patches and repairs.
Operated various machines including: clickers, chopper, mills, calendar, slitter, and injection presses.
Cut Rubber material with trimmers and/or knives.
Utilize precise measurements to accurately produce required products.
Pack, box and label material.
