About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our precision plastics manufacturing team. This role focuses on running pre-set CNC mill machines to produce a variety of custom components in a high-mix, low-volume environment. The ideal candidate is quality-conscious, follows instructions well, and can consistently operate equipment with minimal supervision.

Requirements

2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (mills experience preferred; plastics a plus).
Basic understanding of machining processes and common measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings or instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC mill machines to produce parts according to provided instructions and specifications.
Load raw material into machines and safely unload finished parts.
Monitor machine operation during production to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
Perform basic part inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Follow written and verbal instructions including job travelers, inspection plans, and part drawings.
Accurately record production quantities and quality checks.
Maintain clean work area and follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Communicate effectively with setup personnel, leads, or supervisors regarding issues, quality concerns, or downtime.
