About The Position

Agri-Mark/McCadam/Cabot Creamery is seeking a full-time Milk Receiver/Operator for the second shift (10 am-6 pm). This role is crucial for unloading milk trucks, ensuring proper sampling, temperature, and laboratory analysis, as well as the storage of milk, cream, or other blends in compliance with governmental regulations. The position also involves maintaining sanitary facilities through Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and general cleaning. This is a physically demanding role that requires working as part of a team and individually, making hose/pipe connections, and working in environments that can be hot or cold. Key aspects include establishing effective working relationships, providing guidance to trainees and co-workers, maintaining accurate records, and utilizing computer systems. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime are essential.

Requirements

Demonstrated solid judgment abilities.
Work flexibility is a must, including the willingness to work overtime on occasion.
Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
Ability to make hose/pipe connections.
Ability to work in an environment that may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
Computer work is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Clear and unload milk trucks that come into the plant.
Perform proper sampling, temperature checks, and laboratory analysis of milk, cream, or other blends.
Unload, load, and store milk, cream, or other blends consistent with governmental regulation.
Maintain facilities in a sanitary manner, including Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings, and other non-contact surfaces.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a small team and drivers.
Provide guidance to trainees and co-workers.
Ensure accurate records are maintained properly.
Utilize computer systems for essential job functions.
