About The Position

We are seeking a 3rd shift Bulk Milk Receiver / Shipper to join our team at the West Springfield, MA plant. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a shift from 11 pm to 7 am. The role offers a competitive starting pay of $27.74 per hour, with an additional 10% night differential. Opportunities for rate increases are available every six months for the first two years, and this entry-level position provides ample room for advancement. The position involves working in receiving bays with milk tankers, ensuring proper sampling, temperature monitoring, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading, and storage of milk, cream, or other blends in compliance with governmental regulations. Responsibilities also include maintaining sanitary facilities through Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of surrounding areas. The Receiver will operate a yard horse on company property only. Training will be provided.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Strong writing and math skills
Mechanically inclined
Ability to handle and maneuver objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

Responsibilities

Provide for proper sampling, temperature, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading, and storage of milk, cream, or other blends consistent with governmental regulation.
Maintains facilities in a sanitary manner to include Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings and other non-contact surfaces.
Drive yard horse on property only.
