About The Position

Agri-Mark is seeking a 2nd shift Bulk Milk Receiver / Shipper to join their team at the West Springfield, MA plant. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with shifts from 3 pm to 11 pm. The role involves working in receiving bays with milk tankers, ensuring proper sampling, temperature checks, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading, and storage of milk, cream, or other blends in compliance with governmental regulations. Responsibilities also include maintaining sanitary facilities through Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of non-contact surfaces. The position requires operating a yard horse on company property. Training will be provided. This entry-level position offers opportunities for advancement, with potential rate increases every six months for the first two years.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong writing and math skills
• Ability to handle and maneuver objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Mechanically inclined

Responsibilities

• Proper sampling, temperature, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading, and storage of milk, cream, or other blends consistent with governmental regulation.
• Maintains facilities in a sanitary manner to include Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings and other non-contact surfaces.
• Drive yard horse on property only.
