About The Position

Toft Dairy Inc. is currently looking for quality candidates to fill a FULL TIME position on our Loading Dock as a Dairy Loader. The successful candidate must be available second shift hours beginning at 2:00 PM and work a typical 7 to 8 hour shift depending on customer demand Monday through Friday. Those individuals with professional traits such as Punctuality, Positive Attitude, Strong Work Ethic, Self-motivated and Team Player will excel in the work environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to withstand cold refrigeration temperatures for periods of time
• Must provide own cold weather apparel such as coat/jacket, sweatshirt, hat
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to push/pull heavy loads (pallet jack, 2 - wheel hand cart)
• Standing for long periods of time are required
• Punctuality is required. Being routinely late to work and/or routinely calling off of work is unacceptable.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and good work ethic
• Effective math skills' ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of weight and volume measurements.
• Ability to multi-task while remaining calm and working effectively under pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language; speak, understand, and read written and verbal instructions, policies and procedures
• Ability to work well with others; team -oriented and individually accountable
• Frequently walk, stand, climb, bend, and twist
• Frequently lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. is also required
• Occasional lifting/transferring of objects may be required with assistance up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to handle environments of different temperatures and with various food allergens present

Nice To Haves

• Order picking/warehousing skills preferred
• Ability to operate and back-up semi-trailers & straight trucks a plus.
• General Safety and Food Safety knowledge/experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Filling customer orders (order picking)
• Monitoring and rotating inventory
• Moving of product from refrigerated warehouse to refrigerated delivery trucks
• Warehousing
• Additional duties as assigned
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Performing required tasks safely, in a fast-paced work environment; ensuring food safety, quality and efficiency standards are achieved
