About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Senior Military Operations Specialist to join our team at Rock Island, IL. This role focuses on continuous modernization opportunities through digitizing operations and processes in support of Army Training, Readiness, and Mobilization efforts. The specialist will demonstrate experience, skills, and in-depth knowledge of Army Operations, National Guard and Army Reserve mobilizations, home-station training, and pre-/post-mobilization training requirements. Responsibilities include participating in planning events, supporting staff in conferences and meetings, and providing support to digital solutions for rapid information sharing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of related experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and three (3) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
• Experience in Army Tactical Operations.
• Experience in Army Mobilization operations.
• Operational experience in a battalion (or higher).
• Experience in modern Army digital systems of record (MAVEN, Vantage, GFIM-OE, etc)
• Candidate must be willing to work in the training environment and operational conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of the Sustainment Readiness/ReARMM Model.
• Understanding of National Guard and Army Reserve mobilization processes.
