About The Position
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Military Operations Analyst 3 to support the Sustainment – Futures Capability Directorate (FCD) Requirements Division in Fort Greg Adams, Virginia. The division develops future concepts and requirements for developmental vehicles, including Autonomous Tactical Vehicles, current and future Tactical Wheeled Vehicles, and Army Watercraft Systems. Requirements documentation covers fielded systems and new capabilities and ensures systems’ performance, training, and logistics comply with FCD guidelines. The role also develops Characteristics of Need (CON) documentation, annexes, and appendixes. The analyst will support the U.S. Army by researching and analyzing current and future system capabilities, lifecycle management, requirements, gaps and shortfalls, and potential solutions. The role also supports recommendations for concepts of employment and the integration and optimization of legacy and emerging systems. The position is full-time, salaried, and exempt, with 0–10% required travel. A Secret security clearance must be obtainable and maintainable.
Requirements
- Six years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field; four years with a master's degree in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and ten years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

- Army logistics experience.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze current and future system capabilities, lifecycle requirements, gaps and shortfalls, and proposed solutions; develop recommendations based on the analysis.
- Develop recommendations for Concepts of Employment (CONEMP) for the fielding, use, and sustainment of new capabilities based on Technology Readiness Level (TRL) assessments.
- Participate in and support planning meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Provide logistical support to FCD for integration and optimization of legacy and emerging systems.
- Develop Characteristics of Need (CON) documentation, annexes, and appendixes.
