About The Position

Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors. Job Overview: The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting, designing, and maintaining network infrastructure in support of distributed simulation and training environments. This role provides technical expertise in troubleshooting, integration, and network architecture to ensure reliable and secure operations across federated systems and enterprise environments supporting JLLCTC and Next Generation Constructive capabilities. Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Management, Information Technology, or related field; OR 10 years of recent network engineering or related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture design and implementation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining server platforms and network devices, including firewall configuration.
  • 3+ years of experience in military operations, military information technology, or military models and simulations.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Server platforms, network switching, and firewall configuration.
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, security principles, storage solutions, and backup methodologies.
  • DoDD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent with OS certification).
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and rapidly troubleshoot issues across federate systems, both co-located and at remote sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within RTI infrastructure software, client system software, and networking environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain network architectures supporting distributed simulation environments.
  • Provide technical recommendations to Government representatives regarding network requirements, solutions, and timelines.
  • Support integration of systems across LAN/WAN environments, ensuring efficient and secure information flow.
  • Configure and maintain network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot server platforms, ensuring system availability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and operational requirements.
