About The Position

The Scheduling & Calendar Coordinator will support the NEXTGEN Constructive section. This role is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and synchronizing training events, testing activities, and operational timelines, while ensuring accurate and timely information flow across leadership and operational teams.

Requirements

  • Experience managing schedules, calendars, or operational timelines in a complex environment.
  • Familiarity with military planning processes, including WARNOs and OPORDs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to brief and update leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling/collaboration tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting training exercises, simulations, or operational environments.
  • Background in military operations, planning, or coordination roles.
  • Familiarity with NEXTGEN Constructive systems or similar simulation environments.
  • Experience with information management and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage calendars, schedules, and timelines for NEXTGEN Constructive training events and testing activities.
  • Assist in the development, planning, and coordination of Warning Orders (WARNOs) and Operations Orders (OPORDs).
  • Schedule, track, and support execution of exercises, training events, and operational activities.
  • Deconflict schedules and ensure alignment across multiple teams, stakeholders, and events.
  • Control the flow of operational information by vetting, approving, and distributing reports.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of critical information to leadership and subordinate elements.
  • Provide regular updates and briefings to leadership on operational status, current and upcoming deployments and training schedules and execution status.
  • Maintain and update calendars, trackers, and reporting tools to reflect real-time operational changes.
  • Assist in coordinating resources and logistics to support scheduled events and exercises.
