Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) provide counseling services, preventative in nature, to address and provide solution-focused approaches to issues before they become greater challenges. MFLCs are the first line of defense for military Service Members’ mental health. Counselors may support adults or minors in various assignments, including being embedded with a military unit, supporting military families, or working within a school setting. The Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) model allows counselors to focus on their passion for helping others without administrative burdens like insurance, treatment plans, or progress notes. Reporting is done through intuitive reporting tools. This role is ideal for licensed mental healthcare providers seeking a flexible, PRN-type schedule to step in where needed across military installations and communities.
