About The Position

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. This role assists government procurement agencies in developing acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans, and qualifying vendors. The position is involved throughout the entire acquisition lifecycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration, and contract close-out. The Military Analyst applies knowledge of the defense acquisition process to analyze and improve acquisition process policy and procedures, devising strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring their effectiveness. They use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution. The role also participates in developing acquisition plans, source selection documents (including evaluation criteria), Independent Government Cost Estimates, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids. Additionally, the analyst assists with the development of pre-award technical documentation such as solicitations, IGCEs, Technical Evaluation Plans (TEP), and Technical Evaluation Reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8-11 years related work experience
  • TS/SCI clearance required

Responsibilities
