Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to provide support for the Execution of Navy Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center (NEXWDC) phase training. This includes instruction on setting up and operating an effective Tactical Operations Center (TOC) and the Navy Planning Process for Battle Watch Captains, Staff Planners, Unit Leaders, and Commanders. The role involves classroom instruction, administration of written exams, development and facilitation of practical exercises, and curriculum development. Responsibilities also include performance evaluation of Navy Expeditionary Staffs in integrated/advanced training events, exercise development and planning in support of Fleet and training/assessment exercises, and analysis, review, and standardization of Expeditionary Warfare (EXW), Irregular Warfare (IW), Construction (CON), and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) tactics. The position will also review Navy Expeditionary concepts and conduct proof of concept in fleet exercises, along with mission area effectiveness assessments, and gap identification and analysis. The Military Analyst/Instructor will provide various types of management and technical support to a wide range of projects including training and readiness assessments. MA/I’s are required to qualify and provide classroom instruction at NEXWDC or as part of a Mobile Training Team for courses in the NEXWDC training continuum. These courses include Battle Watch Captain, Basic Expeditionary Staff Planner, Advanced Expeditionary Staff Planner, NECF Leadership, and Expeditionary Staff Training (EST). MA/I’s also administer written exams, develop and facilitate practical exercises, assist in curriculum development, training outlines, student handouts, and lesson plans. Additionally, MA/I’s support the design, development, refinement, and execution of training exercise scenarios to train and assess Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) unit(s)’ ability to effectively execute its combat mission in a MCO environment. These events and exercises include Navy Expeditionary Force (NEF) Force Development (FD) Limited Objective Experiment (LOE), NEF integrated/advanced exercise, and participation in (synthetic or live) various Fleet exercises. The end-state is to train and assess units on the Navy Planning Process and their ability to conduct Mission Analysis and COA Development, followed by detailed mission planning and execution, including the unit's ability to effectively command and control assigned forces.
