About The Position

Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) is seeking a Military Analyst/Speechwriter for their CIG Section. TAPE's mission is to generate innovative and cost-effective solutions to any challenge, regardless of its scope or complexity, for their government customers. They work with customers to identify strategic and tactical needs and then seek the most innovative solutions to those requirements.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Army Aviation and served as an Army Aviation Planner/Military Analyst.
• Expertise may come from rotary-wing, fixed-wing, or unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations.
• Expert level of understanding in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to respond to high-priority, short-turn tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated success collaborating across functions in mission-oriented environments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

• MA/MS degree
• Previous service on AVCOE Staff
• Experience serving in the Army or Joint Staff

Responsibilities

• Developing briefings, speeches, information papers, and professional journal articles relating to Army aviation operations, training, doctrine, and program management.
• Proofreading and editing the work of others to improve quality and identify and correct errors.
• Interpreting guidance and quickly incorporating changes into draft products to achieve timelines.
• Understanding the strategic environment and incorporating emerging policy, training, and material decisions into products.
