About The Position

Calvary Healing Center has provided a full continuum of care, specializing in addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area and Nationwide for over 60 years. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers on-site detoxification and in-patient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Through our programs we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music.

Position Summary
As an active member of the Leadership Team, the Milieu Manager directly supervises Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) and the Lead BHTs. This person is responsible for the overall functioning of the milieu, which includes all inpatient services and ongoing resolution of staff and patient needs along with concerns. The Milieu Manager coordinates care with other departments, including Intake, Clinical Services, Nursing, and Plant Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with psychiatric and chemical dependency population.
• At least 1-year inpatient experience.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Possession of Valid Driver's License and pass a 39-month driving report
• Successful completion of BLS & FA Certification within 30 days of hire
• Successful completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities
