Migration Execution Intern
About The Position
Leidos is seeking students for its Summer 2027 Internship Program, starting in May 2027. The Migration Execution Intern will join the Digital Sector and support the Migration Execution team on the Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract. This 100% remote internship, with a primary focus on U.S. Eastern time zones, offers hands-on experience with network and endpoint migration best practices across DODNet discovery, planning and design, and migration execution. The intern will rotate through migration execution support duties to understand the work from start to finish and contribute to projects across multiple task orders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree.
- Strong interest in project management, information technology, or computer science.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Teams, or the Power Platform; academic or personal experience is acceptable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment and manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- A security clearance is required to start; Leidos will sponsor if necessary.
- Must be based in the United States and have reliable internet for remote work and video conferencing.

- A degree in Business Management, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Support the project manager in DAFA migration efforts across multiple task orders.
- Assist with travel support and invoicing review across multiple task orders.
- Assist with network Point Of Contact (POC) coordination.
- Provide Bill Of Materials (BOM) support across migration efforts.
- Assist Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams with Contract Deliverables (CDRLs) preparation and uploads.
- Organize and support the Migration Queue and triage issues for SME teams.
- Assist with coordination and communication for migration testing activities.
- Rotate through migration support duties to understand the phases of discovery, planning and design, and migration execution.
