About The Position

The Steel Welder at MOLIN GAGE INC performs high-quality welding on steel components, ensuring structural integrity, precision, and compliance with safety standards. The role supports the successful completion of manufacturing projects.

The position involves operating welding equipment to join steel components according to specifications and blueprints; inspecting welding surfaces and finished structures; maintaining and troubleshooting welding machinery and tools; and collaborating with engineering and fabrication teams to improve welding processes. The welder also follows safety protocols, keeps records of welding activities, materials, and project timelines, and develops welding skills through training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel welding, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven experience with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings related to welding projects.
• Proficiency in using welding equipment and tools while adhering to safety protocols and standards.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and steel properties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise welding tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
