About The Position
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. This role is integral to the preparation and assembly of piping systems used in fire sprinkler installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding in a fabrication shop.
- Experience with galvanized and carbon black steel
- Strong attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Stand for long periods and work in various positions.
- Pass background check of 7 years & Drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on galvanized and carbon black steel piping systems.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting pipes.
- Inspect welds and piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
