Requirements
- 1 or more years of professional MIG welding experience specifically working with carbon steel components
- 1+ years of proven experience operating overhead cranes and material handling forklifts in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Foundational ability to work off weld symbols, dimensional tolerances, and industrial engineering prints
- A solid, reliable work history with a record of consistent attendance
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a 45-minute drive of the Richfield/Germantown area
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and interpreting detailed blueprints and engineering drawings to plan fabrication layouts
- Laying out, fitting, and MIG welding a variety of carbon steel industrial products and sub-assemblies
- Fabricating high-quality products built to rigorous commercial standards that pass ASME welding tests
- Safely operating industrial forklifts and overhead bridge cranes to manipulate and position heavy raw materials and finished weldments
- Inspecting completed welds for quality, penetration, and conformance to structural dimensions
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean workspace in compliance with company safety regulations
