About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG Welders for projects located in or around Eugene, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $27–$32/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Nice To Haves
- Welding certification preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- MIG welding on various metal including steel and aluminum, according to specifications
- Reading & interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication
- Setting up, adjusting, & operating MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting welds for quality, strength, and adherence to project specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborating with team members and fabrication leads to complete projects on time
- Performing basic maintenance on welding, equipment, and tools
