About The Position

As a Class B Welder, you will play a critical role as an experienced welder. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your exceptional welding skills to meet production output levels while maintaining outstanding attendance. This position is tailored for welders and fabricators with a minimum of 6 months of experience or skills that exceed the C level.

Requirements

• Trade School or minimum of 6 months experience in MIG Welding.
• Must be dependable.
• Requires the interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with wide variety of internal personnel.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
• Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must show concern for quality and practice continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Stand the entire shift.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Nice To Haves

• Be proficient in reading a tape measure for precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in MIG welding; will weld on Doors, Sills, Handels, and Tanks including some Stainless welding.
• Tack weld efficiently
• Grind when applicable
• Willingness to work and train in various welding positions on Cell 5, encompassing welding, tacking, stud, or bung weld tasks.
• Read and comprehend blueprints and part lists to ensure accurate welding and assembly.
• Utilize shop tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks without compromising safety.
• Knowledge and consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for the job.
