About The Position

DJS Manufacturing, a Division of Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing, is seeking a motivated and dedicated MIG/TIG Welder for their second shift. This is a full-time position within a growing metal fabrication company that produces components for a wide range of industries. The company prides itself on providing high-quality products and services, with expanding capabilities including CNC machining, full metal fabrication, painting, and integrated assemblies. A new, state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility is planned for 2027. The Welder will be responsible for setting up, fabricating, and welding various materials according to blueprints and customer specifications.

Requirements

2+ years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience
High School diploma or GED required
Ability to set-up jobs from prints
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attendance
Positive, “can do” attitude

Nice To Haves

A certificate from college or technical school
Robot welding experience

Responsibilities

Perform daily set-up and fabricate/weld (MIG and/or TIG) weldments in a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Utilize blueprints for set-up and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met.
Lay-out, tack-up and weld sheet metal in constructing customer parts and components.
Tack and/or weld metal parts together using MIG and/or TIG welding.
Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed product.
Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
Perform porosity-free TIG welding and MIG welding.
