About The Position

Our Douglasville Chase Staffing is immediately hiring skilled and motivated MIG & Production Welders for an industry-leading manufacturing client in the LITHIA SPRINGS Austell Fulton Industrial areas. As a MIG & Production Welder, you will operate production welding equipment to fabricate high-quality metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining production targets while ensuring all safety and quality standards are strictly met.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience with manual production MIG welding.
Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from technical fabrication drawings/blueprints.
Proficiency with standard hand and power tools (grinders, saws, calipers, squares).
Ability to stand for the duration of a 10+ hour shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Comfortable working in a high-activity, non-climate-controlled plant environment.
Strong attention to detail and self-inspection skills.
Steel-toe footwear is strictly required.

Nice To Haves

AWS welding certification or equivalent technical training.
Previous structural wire-feed welding experience.
Bilingual communication skills (English / Spanish) are a plus.
Fabricating experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Operate production MIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components with precision.
Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, layouts, and welding symbols.
Prepare, align, and fit parts using clamps, calipers, squares, angle grinders, and hand tools.
Inspect finished welds for defects to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized manufacturing workspace.
Log basic production data and report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
