About The Position

Tradesmen International is hiring experienced MIG Pipe Welders for projects in or around Pipersville, Pennsylvania. This is a first-shift opportunity paying up to $35 per hour, based on experience and skill level. The work is performed in a shop environment and involves fitting and welding pipe assemblies to project specifications, producing welds that meet ultrasonic testing requirements, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Previous MIG pipe welding experience.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• Experience with 6G pipe welding.
• Experience welding 2-inch and larger pipe.
• Experience welding Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 black steel pipe.
• Ability to perform root, fill, and cap welds to specification.
• Experience producing welds subject to ultrasonic testing (UT).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliability, safety-consciousness, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6G pipe welding in a shop environment.
• Weld Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 black steel pipe.
• Complete short-circuit and RND root passes.
• Perform pulse weld fill and cap procedures.
• Fit and weld pipe assemblies according to project specifications.
• Produce high-quality welds that meet ultrasonic testing (UT) requirements.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
