About The Position

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a strong team of established OB-GYN Physicians and Nurse Midwives. Provide healthcare to individuals and families. Assess and manage the health care needs and issues of low risk and moderate risk obstetrical patients. Assess and manage gynecologic care. Function as part of the provider team to deliver the highest quality and safest patient care in a variety of settings, including but not limited to inpatient, ambulatory and Outreach sites. Provide 24/7 inpatient coverage as required. May assume primary responsibility for patient care. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program
  • National specialty certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife
  • Eligible for RN licensure in the State of VT
  • Eligible for APRN licensure in the State of VT
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide healthcare to individuals and families.
