About The Position

Under limited supervision, this position leverages engineering concepts to guide long-term and short-term planning and infrastructure build-out optimization. It supports planning teams to prescribe capital solutions aligned with business goals and strategic plans, and applies fluid dynamic and thermodynamic principles to support planning processes with system capabilities. The role involves developing, maintaining, and utilizing hydraulic models, capital and operating costs, and other factors to develop engineering solutions in gas and water transportation. Additionally, it includes collecting and reporting capital budget, opex, and fee performance metrics to support economic analysis, and coordinating with various stakeholders to track project cost metrics and schedules, identify conflicts, and support economic return analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Field of Study: Engineering
  • At least three (3) years of related experience.
  • Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to apply engineering concepts such as fluid dynamics, organic chemistry and phase transfer in real world scenarios.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and work independently with moderate supervision.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate high ethical and professional behavior and decision making when working with others.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, and foster and encourage teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage understanding of engineering concepts to guide long-term and short-term planning and infrastructure build out optimization.
  • Support planning teams to prescribe capital solutions aligned with business goals and strategic plans.
  • Apply fluid dynamic and thermodynamic principles to support planning processes with system capabilities.
  • Develop, maintain, and utilize hydraulic models, capital and operating costs and other factors to develop engineering solutions in gas and water transportation.
  • Collect and report capital budget, opex and fee performance metrics in support of economic analysis.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, operations personnel, planning team members, and other key stakeholders to track midstream project cost metrics and schedules, identify conflicts and support economic return analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
