About The Position

Under general supervision, this position will support the preparation and analysis of budgeting and forecasting information for management review. It will also support long-range planning efforts through data collection, reporting, and analysis related to pipeline, facility, and inventory projects. The role involves monitoring project progress, tracking key activities, identifying potential issues, and communicating findings to project stakeholders. Additionally, it requires documenting and analyzing program progress by tracking aggregated project costs and activity, coordinating with project managers to capture schedule changes, and compiling/tracking Connection Notices, AFEs, and PO submittals to ensure approved items are submitted for purchase and to monitor the approval workflow, preventing delays in the processing of AFEs and purchase orders. The position will also develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and KPI reporting to support project decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in related field from an accredited institution.
  • Field of Study: Accounting, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
  • At least two (2) years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of financial and accounting principles, with ability to evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to develop reports, analyses, and presentations.
  • Basic understanding of project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, schedule management, and project reporting.
  • Basic understanding of midstream oil and gas operations, facilities, and capital projects, or the ability to quickly learn industry concepts.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize competing demands, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain accountability for assigned objectives and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data; identify trends and provide data-driven insights and recommendations under guidance from senior team members.
  • Ability to gather, validate, organize, and maintain data from multiple sources while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic business environment with ability to adjust priorities and business requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
