About The Position

This role requires a Middleware Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in application development and middleware expertise. The engineer will be responsible for developing applications using middleware platforms and integration tools, with a strong focus on data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing, and implementation. The role also involves preparing technical and user documentation, performing software conversions, and working in multi-platform environments including mainframe, mid-range systems, personal computers, and laptops. Expertise in relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server is essential, as is hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus and web service development. A strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) trends and standards, including XML, JSON, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML schemas, and WSDL usage, is also required.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in application development & middleware
• Experience in application software development using middleware platforms and integration tools
• Strong skills in data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing, and implementation
• Exposure to diverse environments including mainframe, mid-range systems, personal computers, and laptops
• Working with Relational databases including but not limited to Oracle and SQL Server
• Hands-on experience in enterprise middleware platform flow development and administration
• Web service development and consumption
• Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) trends and standards, including XML, JSON, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML schemas, and WSDL usage
