About The Position

The Middle School Testing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the federal and state assessment program at COOK MIDDLE SCHOOL for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves coordinating material orders, providing training, maintaining confidentiality and test security, ensuring data integrity, and assisting with the interpretation and distribution of assessment results. The coordinator will report to the district state assessment coordinator and perform other job-related duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited college or university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
• Effective communication skills, written and oral presentation, and strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience in the use of Excel, specifically sorting and filtering spreadsheets
• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail

• Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, order materials, provide training, and maintain confidentiality and test security for all assessments within the federal and state assessment program platforms.
• Ensure data integrity as related to district and state testing and accountability systems.
• Train and maintain staff certification records regarding procedures and guidelines of the federal and state assessment programs.
• Work with campus staff to identify students’ needs to maintain an appropriate testing program (i.e., accommodations, schedules, etc.).
• Assist the principal and other building administrators with the interpretation and distribution of all assessment results.
• Report to the district state assessment coordinator for training and updates.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
