About The Position

Hebrew Public is seeking skilled, student-centered educators for future Middle School Teacher positions in grades 6-8. This is an evergreen talent-pipeline posting, meaning applications will be reviewed as staffing needs arise. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong content knowledge in ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, or a related field
  • Understanding of effective middle school instruction, adolescent development, classroom culture, and student engagement
  • Ability to use assessment data to respond to student needs and accelerate growth
  • Ability to build strong relationships while maintaining high expectations
  • Value social-emotional learning and global citizenship
  • Willingness to welcome feedback and demonstrate the OLAM values in your work

Nice To Haves

  • Pennsylvania Special Education teacher certification, or active progress toward certification
  • Experience providing highly individualized instruction
  • Experience supporting students through push-in or pull-out services
  • Experience leading a classroom for students with moderate support needs
  • Experience leading and supporting paraprofessionals (for moderate-needs classroom roles)
