About The Position

This is a full-time (.858 FTE) licensed Middle School Fine Arts position for Theatre, for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is located at West Hills Middle and is available starting August 10, 2026. The closing date for applications is May 15, 2026.

Requirements

• Utah Educator License with Theatre endorsements.
• Professional Educator License awarded by the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) or eligibility for an Associate Educator License (AEL).
• Proof of an AEL before being added to the candidate pool.
• Proof of enrollment in a teacher certification program at a local university will also be accepted in lieu of an AEL.

Responsibilities

• Teach Theatre classes to middle school students.
• Obtain and maintain a Utah Educator License with Theatre endorsements.
• Participate in the Alternate Pathway to Professional Educator Licensing (APPEL) Program if applicable.
• Enroll in a teacher certification program at a local university if applicable.
