About The Position

Holy Trinity School in El Cajon is a Catholic school that partners with parents to form students spiritually, morally, intellectually, and physically within a close-knit community often described as a “family.” Rooted in the example of the Holy Trinity and the mission of the Catholic Church, the school emphasizes prayer, virtue, sacramental life, and strong family relationships while providing a liberal arts education grounded in the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness. Holy Trinity is looking for a dedicated educator to lead a combined 5th and 6th grade classroom, teaching core subjects including religion, math, science, social studies, and English language arts. Responsibilities

Plan, personalize, and execute lesson plans in assigned content areas.
Lead instruction using a rigorous curriculum that inspires intellectual curiosity, reinforces the joy of learning, and enables all students to thrive.
Teach all lessons with rigor, joy, and urgency.
Engage in an ongoing data-driven cycle of assessment, analysis, and action.
Achieve meaningful student achievement and growth results aligned with the school's mission and annual goals.
Implement school-wide systems for academics, culture, and character formation.
Connect with families through frequent phone calls, emails, conferences, and notes.
Develop meaningful relationships with students and parents that drive students to love learning, act with integrity, and make exceptional academic gains.
Participate in up to three weeks of summer training before school’s opening.
Engage in ongoing professional development.
Help students develop a personal relationship with Christ, and work to grow in one’s own relationship with Christ.
