About The Position

This position involves advising the Middle School Student Council, requiring a candidate with successful coaching experience, preferably at the middle school level. Alternate qualifications may be considered. The candidate must also meet requirements for a background check and fingerprinting. The role demands excellent communication skills, knowledge of best practices in coaching, and experience working collaboratively. The advisor will be responsible for instructing students in various settings, developing leadership skills, and fostering student participation. Effective classroom management, organizational skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with administration, staff, parents, and colleagues are essential for ensuring student success and a positive school climate.

Requirements

Successful coaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
Meet requirements for a background check and fingerprinting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of best practices in coaching.
Experience working as part of a collaborative team.
Ability to work cooperatively with administration and staff.
Possess strong organizational, motivational, discipline and fundamental teaching skills.

Responsibilities

Advise the Middle School Student Council.
