Requirements

Earned a Bachelor’s degree by the start of the school year.
Commitment to the school schedule: (7:25 am-3:35 pm).

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver specialized pull-out instruction and push-in support to students on your caseload.
Complete all IEP and Progress Report paperwork in accordance with DESE regulations.
Manage all aspects of students’ IEPs by serving as a liaison for classroom teachers, families, and other instructional support staff and service providers.
Ensure students succeed in a general education classroom and meet the goals and objectives of their IEPs.
Use student achievement data to drive and differentiate instruction, including students with learning differences.
Build relationships with students and families to create a positive classroom culture with high expectations and respect for students' diverse backgrounds and identities.
Teach and uphold school-wide expectations and systems for student behavior.
Grow as an educator through weekly coaching and professional development.
