This role involves providing instruction, creating and implementing classroom management plans, developing lesson plans, and participating in various school committees and professional development activities. The teacher is responsible for maintaining accurate student records, communicating with parents, and actively participating in IEP and 504 team meetings. Additionally, the teacher must implement special educational plans, report suspected abuse or neglect, and prepare substitute lesson plans. Attendance at school-sponsored activities and faculty meetings is also expected.
