About The Position

Charlotte Country Day School seeks a long-term leave replacement for a Middle School Spanish Teacher for approximately five weeks during the 2026 – 2027 school year. This teacher will be responsible for collaboratively designing curriculum, teaching Spanish, and creating a dynamic learning environment for students. We are interested in candidates who are excited to work with and support high-school aged students, have experience with multi-level and differentiated instruction, and demonstrate a commitment to student-centered learning.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate work in Spanish, Education, or a related subject area.
Experience teaching Spanish, preferably to middle-school students.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Understanding of instructional technology.

Responsibilities

Teaching a course load of five sections of Spanish and one advisory in the Middle School in a leave replacement capacity.
Collaborating with teachers and colleagues in the development, evaluation, and revision of curriculum, materials, and programs.
Attending meetings to maintain professional practice.
Other duties as assigned.
