Episcopal High School is seeking a dynamic professional to teach four sections of English, covering two consecutive parental leaves. The School is open to candidates who can commit to the entirety of both leaves or just one of the time periods. The role involves teaching two sections of freshman English (Fundamentals in Literature and Composition) and two sections of electives for juniors/seniors during the first period, and then transitioning to one section of sophomore English (Genre Studies) and two sections of electives for juniors/seniors during the second period. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented candidates who will actively engage in the life of the School and contribute to its mission. References should highlight the candidate's ability and willingness to work creatively and effectively in a boarding school setting. While residential duties are secondary to the teaching assignment, they can be discussed if of interest to the candidate. The offered salary will be competitive and based on experience.
