About The Position
PODER Academy Secondary School is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher for grades 7th and 8th. PODER Secondary is an innovative college-prep school focused on proficiency, with student scores in core subjects exceeding national and state averages. This is a small-school environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. We are seeking creative minds who enjoy teaching science.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree
- Able to pass a background check

- Multiple Certifications/Endorsements
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction
- Provide small group and individual instruction
- Provide weekly lesson plans to the Principal
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative instruction techniques
