Middle School Math Teacher - St. Malachy School
About The Position
St. Malachy Catholic School, a preschool through 8th grade school with an enrollment of 515 students, is seeking a faith-filled middle school Math teacher licensed to teach algebra and geometry for the 2024-2025 school year. This teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons for 6th through 8th grade students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of Indiana Math Standards and current best practices for diverse student needs. They should be able to design and facilitate engaging lessons, provide ongoing student support, and create a positive classroom environment with Christ at the center. A strong faith and willingness to share it with students is essential. Candidates must also be able to collaborate effectively with grade-level team members, other teachers, special area teachers, and support staff, demonstrating excellent organization, communication, and flexibility.
Requirements
- Licensed to teach algebra and geometry.
- Strong knowledge of the Indiana Math Standards.
- Knowledge of current best practices to meet diverse student needs.
- Strong faith and willingness to share that faith with students.

Responsibilities
