Middle School Math Teacher (Roswell Campus)
About The Position
Saint Francis Middle School in Roswell is seeking a dynamic, experienced Math teacher to join its Middle School team. This is a full-time, in-person position. The teacher will present instruction in multiple ways, accommodate students with different ability levels, and introduce new concepts in reasonable segments. The role includes reinforcing teaching strategies, assigning appropriate homework, assessing student progress, and implementing classroom management procedures. The teacher will communicate and meet with parents, participate in faculty meetings and professional development, and may lead or assist in extracurricular activities such as clubs and sports for additional stipends. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a Mathematics-related field.

- Collaborative approach and willingness to follow designated curriculum outlines.
Responsibilities
- Follow curriculum outlines designated by the Department Head and Curriculum Coordinator to support consistency within each grade level and continuity between grade levels.
- Present instruction using multiple modalities and account for students' different ability levels.
- Present material in reasonable segments so students can understand and internalize new concepts.
- Review and reinforce teaching strategies to help students retain and internalize material.
- Assign reasonable amounts of homework so students can practice skills taught in school.
- Administer assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Implement appropriate classroom management procedures.
- Maintain communication with parents by email and phone.
- Meet with parents for formal and informal conferences and provide feedback.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
- Lead or assist in extracurricular activities, such as clubs and sports, as opportunities arise.
