Middle School Math-Leave Replacement (September 2026 - May 2027)
About The Position
Grace seeks a confident and creative math teacher who loves teaching middle school students to fill a family leave position from September 2026 to May 2027. The ideal candidate takes professional growth seriously; values conceptual understanding and not just procedural fluency; communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues; brings tools and strategies for differentiating instruction within the context of heterogeneous groups; and will work collaboratively to develop curriculum. Teaching load would include sections of seventh and eighth grade math. Other responsibilities may include lunch duty, clubs, tutorials, and other supervisory duties.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Teaching experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to differentiate instruction within heterogeneous groups.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with the Open Up Resources: Illustrative Math Program.
- A master's degree.
Responsibilities
