About The Position

American Heritage School is seeking a qualified and dedicated Middle School Math Aide. This position is a faith-forming role within the school, requiring the aide to actively support, model, and teach principles consistent with the Mission and values of AHS and the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The aide will assist teachers with classroom management, grading, teaching, lesson preparation, and general teacher and student support. In addition to academic responsibilities, aides are expected to integrate faith-based principles, serve as an example of Christian character, support the spiritual mission of the school, participate in faith-centered activities, and respond thoughtfully to student questions related to faith and values. Candidates must be professional in appearance and demeanor and willing to serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement, ensuring their conduct reflects the school's religious mission.

Requirements

  • Comfortable teaching middle school math through Algebra One

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities
