About The Position
The Lunch/Recess Supervisor supports a positive, safe, and structured environment during student lunch and recess periods. Responsibilities include monitoring student behavior, promoting respectful interactions, assisting students as needed, and working collaboratively with staff to maintain a safe and welcoming school atmosphere. This position is an important part of building relationships with students and contributing to a positive school culture.
Requirements
- Ability to build positive relationships with middle school students.
- Patient, dependable, and enjoys working with children.
- Ability to reinforce school expectations in a calm and consistent manner.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in a school or with youth is helpful but not required.
