About The Position

Community Impact Programs is hiring a Middle School Liaison for the Youth Outreach program. This role supports at-risk students in achieving their potential. The Youth Outreach program places Liaisons in elementary, middle, and high schools within the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) to assist youth facing challenges such as academic failure, dropout, truancy, delinquency, and substance abuse. The Middle School Liaison will collaborate with students and families to foster educational success through intervention and support services at assigned middle schools in KUSD. The organization is dedicated to empowering students and families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and review individual client treatment plans.
  • Monitor client behavior and school achievement by conducting daily in-school checks.
  • Organize structured group, individual/family education or treatment, and recreational activities.
  • Update parents/guardians on client progress and provide problem-solving interactions.
  • Attend court hearings with client and family as needed.
  • Provide supervision and support to youth placed in the Summer Youth Employment Program.
