About The Position

The Interventionist provides targeted academic support to students requiring additional assistance in reading and/or math. This position focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with staff and families to improve student achievement within an MTSS/RTI framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid state teaching certification
• Strong data analysis, collaboration, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• M.S. teaching experience preferred
• Training in literacy and/or math intervention strategies preferred
• Background in literacy or math interventions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 targeted small-group and one-on-one interventions using evidence-based, district-adopted programs
• Use assessment data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and adjust instructional strategies in real time.
• Implement research-based instructional practices aligned to core curriculum standards.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and intervention team
• Actively participate in meetings to support student growth.
• Communicate student progress clearly and consistently with caregivers.
