Wrestling Head Coach
About The Position
Gull Lake Community Schools is hiring a Middle School Head Wrestling Coach. The coach will work with school-age children and young athletes, demonstrate patience and attention to detail, motivate athletes, and maintain a positive attitude and a high-level program. Previous coaching experience is required; prior successful wrestling-coaching experience and knowledge of offensive and defensive techniques are preferred. Saturday commitment is required. Qualified applicants must submit an online application with a letter of application or résumé and letters of reference. The position is subject to fingerprinting and a criminal records review before work in contact with children.

- Must demonstrate patience and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated successful experience working with school-age children.
- Ability to motivate young athletes.
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain a high-level program.
- Professional personal conduct and actions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Saturday commitment is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer a certified teacher from Gull Lake Community Schools.
- Prefer two years of prior successful experience as a wrestling coach, with knowledge of offensive and defensive techniques.
- Prefer academic coursework beyond the middle-school level.
