About The Position
CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate as a Middle School Grade 7 Science Teacher LTS at Thompson Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The anticipated dates for this Long-Term Substitute (LTS) position are September 21, 2026, to December 17, 2026. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess one of the following: a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL), an Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) (which requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education), or a Paraprofessional License along with a bachelor's degree. Please note that CUSD 303 does not accept Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses. The compensation for this role is a Long-Term Substitute Teacher Rate of $220 per day. In addition to submitting an online application, candidates must provide a valid Substitute or PEL license, two letters of reference, and a fingerprint-based background check obtained from the Kane County ROE. Requirements
