Middle School Girls Volleyball Head Coach - Fall 2026
About The Position
The Latin School of Chicago is seeking qualified coaches to join its staff of dedicated coaches pursuing excellence in an education-based athletic program. As Head Coach for the 6th Grade Volleyball team, you will be responsible for building camaraderie, motivation, and team spirit, while also planning, organizing, and implementing the teaching of fundamentals, strategies, rules, and proper conditioning in the sport. You will model attitudes and practices that exemplify the benefits of hard work, striving, and appreciating challenge, and develop a working knowledge of the principles of the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Requirements
- Coaching experience is necessary
- CPR/AED certification
- Carry equipment up to around 20 lbs.
- Ability to complete our fingerprint-based background check
- Provide a tuberculosis test
- Complete required training
Nice To Haves
- Playing experience is preferred
