Montrose School seeks a part-time English Teacher for our Middle School.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area
• Excellent communication skills
• Sound judgment and discretion
• Professionalism in timeliness and grading turnaround
• Commitment to adolescent development and educational best practices

• Education coursework a plus

Responsibilities

• Teaching 2 sections
• Mentoring a prorated caseload of students
• Engaging in the co-curricular life of the school
• Proactively communicating with students and parents to support academic growth aligned with the Montrose mission
